Bereits zum siebten mal organisiert die Künstlerin Anke Becker
(blütenweiss - Raum für Kunst) die Aktion Anonyme Zeichner.
Da blütenweiss seit Mai 2007 ein nomadisches Projekt ohne feste
Ausstellungsräume ist, wird Anonyme Zeichner 7 dieses Mal bei GLUE,
Schwedter Straße 34 a, 10435 Berlin zu Gast sein.

Für Anonyme Zeichner 7 wurde - wie schon bei den voran gegangenen
Durchläufen - ein internationaler Aufruf im Internet geschaltet, in dem
sowohl professionelle Künstler als auch Laien aufgefordert werden, drei
Originalzeichnungen bis zur maximalen Größe A3 bei blütenweiss einzureichen.

Die sehr unterschiedlichen Arbeiten werden jeweils anonym und in gemischter
Hängung gezeigt. Es werden ca. 250 internationale Zeichnungen ausgestellt.

Die Anonymität des Urhebers einer Zeichnung kann am jeweiligen Abend durch
Zahlung eines symbolischen Betrags von einheitlichen 100 Euro aufgehoben
werden: Der Zahlende erfährt den Namen des Zeichners und erhält die Zeichnung
direkt von der Wand zum Mitnehmen. Der Name des Künstlers wird im Gegenzug
in der entstehenden Leerstelle an der Wand angebracht. Die 100 Euro stehen
demnach nicht für einen realen Verkaufspreis, sondern sind eine
Platzhaltergebühr für jeden erdenklichen Geldwert.
Die teilnehmenden Künstler lassen sich darauf ein, ihre Person sowie Ihre
regulären Preisforderungen zugunsten des eigentlichen Produktes,
der Zeichnung,in den Hintergrund zu stellen.

Gängige kunstmarkttypische Mechanismen wie Preisbildung, Künstlerego,
Personenkult und vorgefertigte Qualitätsurteile werden auf experimentelle
Art auf den Kopf gestellt und hinterfragt.

Zu jeder Ausgabe von Anonyme Zeichner erscheint eine
60-seitige Dokumentation mit einer Auswahl anonym abgebildeter Arbeiten
in limitierter Auflage zum Preis von 10 Euro.

ANONYMOUS DRAWINGS N°7  opening: Saturday, August 25 / 2007 7 pm opening hours: Sunday, August 26 / 2007 2 - 8 pm  blütenweiss hosted by GLUE Schwedter Str. 34 a 10435 Berlin Germany    It is already the seventh time the artist Anke Becker organizes the project Anonymous Drawings. blütenweiss - the temporary exhibition space were the first five editions of Anonymous Drawings took place since May 2007 has no longer permanent venues, but remains existent as a nomad art-project. For this time blütenweiss and Anonymous Drawings will be hosted by GLUE, Schwedter Str. 34 a, 10435 Berlin, Germany  Exhibitions are held for two days, preceded by an international open call for entries on the Internet. Participants are encouraged to submit up to 3 original drawings not exceeding 11 x 17 inches. There is no distinction made between established or lay artists.  For two days the typical mechanisms of the art-market like pricing, the artist's own ego, celebrity hype and/or predefined concepts of quality are turned upside down and questioned in an experimental way: The greatly varying works are shown anonymously and among one another. There will be shown round 260 international drawings.  For a symbolic fee of 100 Euros visitors can purchase the works and along with them the names of their respective artists. When a drawing is sold, it is immediately taken off the wall and given to the buyer while the empty space it leaves behind is marked with the full name of the artist.  The spectator is supposed to lose his/her preconceptions about art and is at the same time encouraged to draw the line between art and non-art for his/herself. The participating artists therefore agree to withdraw themselves and their usual pricing from the scene in favor of the more important subject: the drawing itself.
